SPA ETIQUETTE
General FAQ
What should I wear to a massage session?
Anything that is comfortable goes! Clothing that is easy to take off, such as sweats are highly recommended. But don’t worry if you happen to wear a three piece suit — we will leave you plenty of time to get undressed.
What is the common tip amount?
Most of the clients tip between $20 ~ $30 per hour. If you are selecting a specific therapist please try to tip $25 or above. Anything above $30 is an exceptional tip.
Why are the massages so Affordable?
There is one simple reason the price is so low; we avoid the costs of a spa atmosphere and pass the savings on to you! Our therapists offer a 60 minute massage, not the 45 or 50 that others call a one-hour massage.
Am I supposed to take off my underwear?
Many people prefer to keep their undergarments on during a massage, while others prefer to be completely nude. It’s completely up to you. If your problem areas are your lower back, hips, buttocks, or groin, tight-fitting underwear can sometimes get in the way of massage work, but a thong for women or briefs for men should do the trick. Don’t worry if you do remove your underwear, our licensed massage therapists will ensure that you are always properly covered by a sheet or towel. Only the area being massaged will be uncovered.
What should I do during the massage?
Feel free to close your eyes and relax. Your therapist will adjust your cover sheets accordingly, and makes sure all your private areas are covered at all times. Be sure to speak up if the room is too hot or too cold.
